On Thursday, November 16, join Sara Camp Milam and Jerry Slater for book signings, cocktails, and conversation to celebrate the release of their new book, The Southern Foodways Alliance Guide to Cocktails (The University of Georgia Press; October 5, 2017; Hardcover; $29.95), which features nearly 90 easy-to-follow cocktail recipes for the home bartender. All of the cocktails in the book, which range from classic to contemporary, were conceived or popularized in the South, use Southern ingredients, and were concocted or recommended by some of the very best bartenders in the region.
Tickets are $40 and include two cocktails, a copy of the book, and author talk and audience Q&A session. Companion tickets, for those who already have a book, are also available.
