They got engaged on the Queen Street Playhouse stage, were married on that same stage and now share it again as Jamie and Cathy in Jason Robert Brown’s acclaimed relationship musical THE LAST FIVE YEARS in limited run Jan. 20 - 29 as part of our new Act Two Series.
Michael Okas and Rebecca Weatherby are no strangers to FLP audiences and will kick off the New Year in this one-of-a-kind mini musical that explores the fixe-year relationship between Jamie, a rising novelist and Cathy, a struggling actress.
The show uses a form of storytelling in which Jamie’s story is told in chronological order, starting right after they meet, with Cathy’s story told in reverse order, starting at the end of their marriage.
