Hundreds of South Carolina restaurants and bars participated in #StrawlessSummer this year, collectively preventing thousands of pounds of waste!

To celebrate, we are bringing the festivities back to the place that inspired it all, our beach!

Join us for the #StrawlessSummer Finale at Tides Folly Beach on September 6th! There will be tasty and straw-free cocktails from Firefly Distillery, raffles from our friends at GoPure and Healthy Human, and a screening of the award winning documentary STRAWS, with expert panel discussion afterward!

This event is FREE and family friendly!!
Bring your chairs or blankets and join us at the beach!

6:30 pm Beach Sweep (meet on the beach in front of the Tides, look for the Surfrider flag)

7:00 pm Complimentary #Strawless cocktail from Firefly Distillery

7:30 pm Screening of award winning documentary STRAWS

8:00 pm Panel Discussion with filmmaker Linda Booker, Lia Colabello of Plastic Pollution Solutions, Strawless Charleston coordinator, Mount Pleasant Councilman Jim Owens, Megan Deschaine, and Brittani Biedermen of Healthy Human.

Folly Beach is dog-friendly after 6pm, therefore our event is dog friendly! But please keep your four-legged friends on a leash and waste must be picked up!

Additionally, possession and consumption of alcohol on the beach is strictly prohibited.
