Spoleto Festival USA + Charleston Jazz Academy Workshop Series: David Virelles
In collaboration with Spoleto Festival USA, we are excited to host Wells Fargo Jazz Series performing artist David Virelles at the Charleston Jazz Academy on May 28, 2019 from 1pm - 2:15pm. Born in Cuba in 1983, Virelles was raised in a musical family. Discovering his grandfather's jazz collection ignited a passion and changed his life's musical direction. Gain insight from David Virelles's personal musical experiences as a pianist and composer and learn Cuban music traditions in this free workshop.
