On Thursday June 6th, at St. John's Lutheran Church at 10:00 am in historic Old Town, John Nothaft will perform works from traditional Bach to modern pieces for the organ that are creative and unique.
Following his recital John will be giving a book reading with piano accompaniment at the nearby Pauline Book Store. John has written a children's book that was inspired by the musical masterpiece 'Messiah'. The book is called 'Old McHandel & His Musical Farm".
It is intended to captivate young children with the animals they know and love but expose them to the classical musicians that they may be less familiar with. We need a new generation that loves classical music to keep the audiences for Spoleto young and vibrant for many years to come.
Please join John at the Pauline bookstore at 12:30 pm for a fun musical event that young and old will enjoy!
