The 2016 Critics' Pick by New York Times, New York Magazine, and Time Out New York, Small Mouth Sounds finds six runaways from city life on a silent retreat in the overwhelming quiet of the woods. As these strangers confront internal demons both profound and absurd, their vows of silence collide with the achingly human need to connect. Filled with awkward humor, this strange and compassionate new play asks how we address life's biggest questions when words fail us.
Thursday 3/7 and Wednesday 3/13 will be Pay-What-You-Will performances. There will be a Talkback with the cast and crew after the performance on Thursday 3/14. Student rush tickets will be available. PURE also offers the first 10 tickets sold to each performance for $10 each, limit 2.
