The IAAM and the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art will host lauded scholar Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr. to discuss his new four-part PBS series, "Reconstruction: America After the Civil War"
This event will include remarks by Dr. Gates, a conversation between Dr. Gates and IAAM Chief Curator Joy Bivins, a Q&A session, and book signings.
Join us on Thursday, May 9, from 7 PM to 9 PM at the College of Charleston's Rita Liddy Hollings Science Center auditorium, located at 58 Coming Street, Charleston, SC 29424.
