Drayton Hall is pleased to announce the 2023 date of Charleston, SC’s best December and holiday-time Lowcountry event on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at 2:30 pm: The 2023 Drayton Hall Oyster Roast! A long-time favorite of local families and visitors alike, Drayton Hall throws the best annual oyster roast to celebrate the holiday season in Charleston! Register early, this event sells out every year!

Join us for our Annual Deck the Hall Oyster Roast and delight in the historical significance of these local delicacies! All-you-can-eat oysters, a chili bar, and local beverages will ensure that you have a great time all while supporting the Drayton Hall mission. We invite you to arrive early and explore the exhibits at Drayton Hall ahead of the Oyster Roast start time. Your Oyster Roast ticket will act as admission to the grounds. Lawn chairs are welcome but please leave pets, coolers, and outside food and beverages at home. It’s always a sell out, get your tickets early!
