MLK Tribute Jr. Concert – Stand Up! Resistance, Persistence, and Change

Event Details

Lowcountry Voices (LCV), a multicultural and ethnically diverse choral performing arts organization, returns for their annual MLK Jr. holiday concert in North Charleston. Dr. Roland Carter, renowned composer, arranger, and conductor, will serve as guest conductor. The group will pay tribute to the memory and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., with a variety of musical selections, including traditional spirituals (Dr. Carter’s forte), traditional gospel, songs of the Civil Rights Movement, and even a little Sam Cooke.
