Major League Lacrosse Championship Lax Rodeo

Event Details

On Friday, Aug. 17, the Major League Lacrosse Championship Lax Rodeo begins at 10 a.m. with a Team Tournament at Freedom Park on Daniel Island, consisting of a reduced squad (seven-on-seven) and reduced field-size competition with four 30-minute games guaranteed for all participants. Games for participants will be divided into four age divisions. The Champion prize presentation will include photo and autograph opportunities with Major League Lacrosse players.

The Major League Lacrosse Championship Clinic will be hosted by Major League Lacrosse All-Stars from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, August 18 at Freedom Park on Daniel Island. Players that took part in Friday's Lax Rodeo competition and Saturday registrants will receive specialized instruction for every position from top professional lacrosse players! Games, raffles and player autograph sessions also will be held.

The final event prior to the Championship Game, held from 1-3 p.m. at MUSC Health Stadium, is a Skills Competition, which will include the 40-yard dash, fastest shot and most accurate shot. Top performers will be recognized during the 2018 Major League Lacrosse Championship! (Please note: the Skills Competition is located at MUSC Health Stadium)

COST: All Lax Rodeo Events: $100 per player / Players Clinic Only: $75 per player. All participants receive a ticket to the 2018 Major League Championship.
