Each year, the Garden Club of Charleston uses this magnificent house as a backdrop for their creative arrangements, using only plant material that would have been available in the Lowcountry during the first quarter of the 19th century. Each year, the House is decorated to depict a certain theme and this year the theme will be "Poinsettias - The Charleston Connection" honoring Joel Poinsett.
