Event Details
Jackie Robinson was the first African American Baseball Player to break the color line in 1947. He went onto to become a journalist, and a civil rights leader and hero. This documentary is a historical accounting of his life, featuring commentary by Rachel Robinson, his wife.
Sarah Burns and David McMahon, directors and producers of Jackie Robinson, with Ken Burns' Florentine Films will be present for commentary and discussion following the screening and during intermission.

Murray Pavilion will have on display a collection of documentaries made by low country students attending the Inspire@theGaillard and Inspire@thelowcountry film makers camp and academy.
