The Glorious Gardens Tours, 2-5 p.m., are part of Historic Charleston Foundation's acclaimed Festival of Houses and Gardens and feature private garden spaces rarely open for tours. Colorful blooms abound in many of the spring gardens, while others boast elegant palettes of green and white. These walking tours are arranged so guests may stroll leisurely through eight or more private gardens with guides stationed at each location to provide information about garden design, plant materials and history. After exploring the gardens on tour, enjoy a wine reception in the garden of the Nathaniel Russell House Museum, 51 Meeting Street, from 4-5 p.m.
