Exploring the High Speed World of Falcons

On this special focus day at the Center for Birds of Prey, visitors to the MORNING PROGRAM will explore the high-speed world of falcons with in-depth looks at the diversity, natural history, and conservation of this amazing group of birds.

Did you know that some falcons have been shown to use ultraviolet light to locate their prey?

Have you ever wondered how the Peregrine Falcon got its name or that they are sometimes referred to as "duck hawks?"

Participants will have the opportunity to meet a variety of falcons and their close relatives from around the world and see several in free flight.

**Advance purchase is highly recommended for these special focus programs as space will be limited to 250 attendees.
