Bring a basket for the egg hunts which will take place in the Gardens. Once found, the hard-boiled eggs can be taken to the Stableyards to be dyed. Additionally, children play colonial games, participate in the Egg Race and Egg Toss, hear classic stories, make Easter crafts and more.
Prizes: Ceramic prize eggs, hand-made by the Middleton Place Resident Potter, will be hidden among the undyed natural eggs. Each child may present ONE prize egg at the Prize Table to receive a prize. One Grand Prize egg will be hidden in each egg hunt. Children who find Grand Prize eggs will be entered into a drawing for an annual Family Membership. Winners of Egg Tosses and Races will also receive a certificate for a prize.
Cost: Easter Eggstravaganza is included with General Admission/free for Members, however reservations are required. Please sign up below.
Other Information: Please arrive early for check-in and orientation. The first hunt begins promptly at 11 am. Guests are encouraged to stay after the Easter activities and enjoy the Gardens and Plantation Stableyards with the family. Easter Brunch will be served from 10 am - 4 pm in the Middleton Place Restaurant.
