East Cooper Meals on Wheels 6th Annual Oyster Roast

Event Details

Join East Cooper Meals on Wheels for its sixth annual Oyster Roast presented by Crews Subaru of Charleston. The oyster roast is a family-friendly event with plenty of oysters, barbecue, live music, bounce houses, and other activities for the family.

The event is 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20 at Palmetto Islands County Park in Mount Pleasant. Tickets are $35 for adults, $20 for everything but oysters and $10 for children (children 4 years and under are free). Guests will be required to pay the park admission fee ($2 per person; free for Gold Pass members and children 2 and under).

Guests will enjoy live music from The Shakin Martinis Band while shucking oysters. Hot dogs, beer, wine and soft drinks are also included in the ticket price.
In November 2017, Crews Subaru of Charleston presented East Cooper Meals on Wheels with a 2018 Subaru Outback as part of Subaru America's 50th Anniversary celebration. East Cooper Meals on Wheels was one of 50 Meals on Wheels (only one in SC) organizations to win a car.
