Drayton Hall Museum: An Agreeable Prospect Symposium

Drayton Hall Preservation Trust and the Decorative Arts Trust present and exciting day of new research and discoveries at Drayton Hall in beautiful Charleston, SC. We will explore the cosmopolitan world of the 18th century South Carolina Low Country.
This day long symposium will feature landscape, architecture, and decorative arts of the site, highlighting new finds in each area. Lectures and in-depth tours by Drayton Hall Staff in partnership with architectural historian Ed Chappell, furniture conservator Chris Swan of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, and English Landscape historian Mark Laird of the University of Toronto.
The symposium begins in Drayton Hall's Education Center at 8:30 am and will last until about 4:30 pm.
