Outdoors at 22 Westedge Street across from Brittlebank Park
The Charleston community is invited to a festive outdoor Doggie Costume Contest just in time for Halloween at 22 WestEdge in downtown Charleston on Thursday, October 28th. All proceeds from the event go directly to the Charleston Animal Society. Participants can enter their pets by visiting this website: https://charlestonanimalsociety.org/COSTUME-CONTEST/ and the fee is $20 per dog.
Long-time animal activist and Director of Community Engagement at Charleston Animal Society, Kay Hyman will MC the event. Guest judges include: Charleston County Treasurer Mary Tinkler and Journalist Quintin Washington of Quintin's Close Ups. Enjoy live music from beloved Charleston jazz singer Gillian Kohn and take advantage of area restaurants' happy hour specials. Prizes will be given to the top three best dog costumes. Come out and delight in a beautiful fall event as the doggies strut their stuff down the runway!
