WHAT: As part of Facebook's Civic Dinner Series, Charleston Gourmet Burger will partner in hosting the event in Charleston, S.C. to highlight Black Business Month and foster community among small business owners.
WHEN: Wednesday, August 21, 2019. Happy Hour from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Seated dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 8:30 p.m.
WHERE: Cannon Green at 103 Spring Street, Charleston, S.C.
EVENT INFO: As part of Black Business Month, Local Charleston business Charleston Gourmet Burger is hosting a civic dinner with Facebook on Wednesday, August 21 at Cannon Green for Charleston's small businesses to connect, build the community and share tips for success in the digital era.
The dinner is part of Facebook's partnership with Civic Dinners across the country focused on bringing local businesses together for meaningful conversations - and Charleston is no different. 79% of South Carolina small businesses an individuals digital and social media skills are important when hiring and 63% of African American-owned small and medium-sized businesses on Facebook say that they built their business on the platform - nearly 2X as much as the general SMB population.
Registration is live and over 100 people from the area are already planning to attend this free dinner. Facebook is excited to bring together Charleston businesses, like Charleston Gourmet Burger, to foster new conversations and empower tangible change because when our local businesses grow, communities become stronger.
