On May 12, James Island's only brewery, Famulari's Brewing & Pizza Co., will be turning one so they decided to throw a beer festival celebrating home brewers.
At Chucktown Brewdown the public is invited to come out and sample over 30 beers from some of the Lowcountry's best home brewers.
It wouldn't be a party without some live music. Return of the MAC will be playing from 12:30-3:30pm.
At the end of the party one home brewer will named the winner of Chucktown Brewdown and have their beer made in our brewery and place on tap at the brewery for everyone to enjoy.
Guests also get to help select their favorite beer to win the coveted People's Choice Award.
$15 general admission gets you samples of all 30+ beers
$30 VIP gets you 30 minutes early admission, 1 slice of Fam's pizza, 1 pint of Famulari's beer, a tshirt, and a souvenier sample glass.
