Chamber Music Charleston returns to the Presbyterian Church on Edisto Island (2164 Highway 174, Edisto) on Sunday, September 19 at 3pm with a program of music for string trio. Violinist Frances Hsieh, violist Ben Weiss and cellist Timothy O'Malley will perform Beethoven's String Trio in G Major, Op. 9 No 1 and Bach's Goldberg Variations, BWV 988. The Goldberg Variations, originally composed for harpsichord in 1741, has become a staple of the keyboard repertoire, performed on all keyboard instruments from piano to organ.
