Event Details

For the third event in “Booze & Bites,” a series designed to offer guests unique spirits education and food pairings, Home Team BBQ will host “Booze & Bites, Vol. 3: Rums of the Caribbean” in collaboration with Plantation Rum. Set for Thursday, September 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the West Ashley restaurant location, the event will feature five rums in the Plantation portfolio and Caribbean-inspired bites from Home Team BBQ chef Madison Ruckel.

At $45 per ticket, guests will enjoy a welcome cocktail made with Plantation 3 Star followed by a four-course tasting experience featuring Plantation single origin vintage rums (Trinidad 2003, Barbados 2002, Jamaica 2002) and Plantation XO. Ruckel and the Home Team BBQ culinary team will create three savory courses and one dessert course for the evening, thoughtfully prepared to accompany the flavor profiles of each rum. Home Team BBQ beverage director Adam Rothstein and Plantation Rum representative Guillaume Lamy will lead an educational talk on spirits to enrich the tasting experience.
