Blues, Ballads & Swing - The Music of Saxophonist Mark Sterbank
Saxophonist and composer Mark Sterbank is Associate Professor of Jazz Studies and Saxophone at Charleston Southern University. His 2014 CD of original compositions, entitled Dayspring, was featured on Sirius XM Radio's Real Jazz.
Mark's credits include performances with the Harry Connick, Jr. Orchestra, the Darius Rucker Big Band, and Eartha Kitt, and regularly performs with the Quentin Baxter Quintet, the Charlton Singleton Quintet, and is tenor saxophonist and arranger for the Charleston Jazz Orchestra. On this special evening, the Mark Sterbank Quartet will perform an exciting program of Mark's original music.
