Birds of Prey Mother's Day with our Avian Moms and Chicks
Event Details
This special focus MORNING program will focus on the development of young birds from egg to fledgling, a process that is completed in just a few weeks in most cases.
Visitors will meet a variety of young birds produced in the captive propagation program of the Center for Birds of Prey and will have the opportunity to learn more about the tools and techniques utilized in avian captive breeding, a valuable tool in the conservation of sensitive species worldwide.
While the young birds visitors will meet will all be too young to fly, our flight demonstration will include the "grown up" versions of some of the chicks.
**Advance purchase is highly recommended for these special focus programs as space will be limited to 250 attendees.
