Bird Songs - an evening of Nashville songwriters in the round
Event Details
This annual music event is one of the most popular special programs presented at the Center. Taking place in the Countess Paolozzi Owl Wood, visitors are seated in the round surrounded by owls from around the world as they enjoy the songs and stories of some of Nashville's brightest upcoming songwriters. The evening includes a lively open bar with beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages as well as a delicious Lowcountry feast served under the oaks.
Visitors have described this event as "Austin City Limits in the woods", which is an apt description of this unique experience. Past songwriters have included the talent behind popular songs such as "Comeback Song" with Darius Rucker, "Sunshine & Summertime" with Faith Hill, "Sippin' on Fire" with Florida Georgia Line, "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems" with Kenny Chesney, and "A Woman Like You" with Lee Brice.
