The inaugural Bicycle Across South Carolina (BASC) is a three-day, 139-mile cycling event taking place September 12-15, 2019 on the state's historic Palmetto Trail. Both individuals and groups of avid or occasional cyclists are welcome, as are non-riders interested in attending the events held in host cities each night. BASC includes three and two-day ride options, with meals included.
BASC celebrates cycling and the great outdoors, and offers participants a rare chance to see South Carolina from a unique perspective. Riders will explore different parts of the state on trails, stay locally and attend events in local communities, enjoying a sense of camaraderie amongst the rolling community of cyclists.
