Get ready to paddle around the famous Charleston Battery and other historical sites of the Harbor!
The 5th Annual Chucktown Showdown benefiting Surfers Healing (Folly Beach) will take place on September 16, 2017. The races are open to Stand-Up Paddleboards, Prones, Outrigger Canoes and Surfskis. There event features 3 Races:
- The Harbor Course (9.0 Miles)
- The Battery Course (4 miles)
- The Kids SUP Race (1 mile)
There will be cash prizes awarded for the top SUP finishers of the 9-mile course!
After the races, browse vendor tents and grab a bite to eat while while listening to some tunes! There will also be a Beer Garden to enjoy some cold, adult beverages! Be sure to stick around for the awards ceremony and the raffle, as there will be great prizes being given away!
