For the fourth consecutive year, Charleston has been voted #1 Best U.S. City by Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards!
Editor-in-Chief Pilar Guzmán appeared on CBS This Morning to announce this year’s winners.

Charleston first appeared on the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Top U.S. Cities in 1993 with a sixth place ranking. It achieved the #1 ranking in 2011 and has hung onto the top slot for four years running.
In addition to Charleston’s #1 Top City ranking, the magazine’s readers ranked nearby Kiawah Island ranked#1 Top Island in the U.S. and the #2 Top Island in the World. The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Golf Resort ranked #17 among the Top 25 Resorts in the U.S., while the Wentworth Mansion in downtown Charleston ranked #25 on the list of Top 25 Hotels in the U.S.
