80th Annual House and Garden Tours

The Garden Club of Charleston’s 80th Annual House and Garden Tours will take place on Friday April 10 and Saturday April 11, 2015 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. each day. Each house will feature floral arrangements by members of The Garden Club of Charleston.

The tours of private homes and gardens allow visitors access to properties in different Charleston, SC historic districts. Friday’s tour will be in the Ansonborough district and Saturday’s tour will be South of Broad.

Each tour includes a Tea in a spectacular garden. Tickets, though limited, can be purchased via The Garden Club of Charleston’s website www.thegardenclubofcharleston.org. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the Charleston Visitor Center 375 Meeting Street on April 8 through April 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.pm and from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on April 11, 2015.

Proceeds from the Annual House and Garden Tours fund The Garden Club of Charleston projects that benefit the Charleston community and its visitors. Some projects include maintaining Gateway Walk, the Heyward-Washington House Garden, the Joseph Manigault House Garden, the Charleston Museum Courtyard Garden, the MUSC Healing Garden, the Confederate Home Garden, the Philip Simmons Garden and numerous other community oriented projects.
