A much-beloved holiday tradition is back this December. For the 27th year in a row, Circa 1886 Restaurant and Charming Inns of Charleston will play host to the "Charleston Holiday Progressive Dinner," a festive evening where diners journey by carriage to three different locations. Guests are invited to start the evening with hors d'oeurves at the historic Kings Courtyard Inn (198 King Street), travel to Circa 1886 Restaurant (149 Wentworth Street) for a three-course dinner and wind down at the historic John Rutledge House Inn for coffee and dessert (116 Broad Street).

Hors d'oeuvres start at 5:30 pm and the evening wraps up at 8:30 pm. A carriage will transport guests from one location to the next. The cost is $95.00 per person and excludes beverages.

Call it a night with a Progressive Dinner Package, offered by the John Rutledge House Inn. The package includes overnight and Progressive Dinner accommodations for two, a rickshaw ride to Kings Courtyard Inn and a Junior League Party Receipts Cookbook. The package rate starts at $389 per night and excludes room tax and dinner beverages.
