Thought Leader Speaker Series: Creating Community + Art Reception

Event Details

The integration of arts and community development is being explored and promoted throughout the country as an effective strategy for revitalizing and building strong, healthy communities. The second annual Thought Leader Speaker Series will embrace the relationship between these two fields by combining a thought-provoking conversation with former Charleston Mayor, Joseph P. Riley, Jr., with a reception featuring work from local artists.

Reception attendees will have the opportunity to purchase original, postcard sized art work from participating artists on a first come first served basis.
