The Charleston Symphony Orchestra (CSO) is pleased to present The Ben Folds Orchestra Experience. This special Piccolo Spoleto performance, conducted by CSO Principal Pops Conductor Yuriy Bekker, will feature Ben Folds on piano singing many of his greatest pop hits with rich orchestral accompaniments provided by the Charleston Symphony Orchestra. The concert is sponsored by the Daniel Island Community Fund and Blackbaud.
In 2013 Ben composed "Concerto for Piano and Orchestra" to critical acclaim. Since then, he has continued his global symphony performance quest performing the concerto along with a host of new songs that overlap pop and classical worlds with a fresh, exciting sound he has dubbed "chamber rock."
Advance tickets will be available Monday, May 2, 2016, online at www.piccolospoleto.com and by phone at (866) 811-4111 (additional handling fees may apply). In-person ticket sales are available at the Gaillard Center, located at 95 Calhoun Street in downtown Charleston. Box Office hours of operation will be May 2-June 11, 9am-6pm daily.
