Bring your lawn chair and your appetite for an afternoon of good music and good food in the park at the Isle of Palms Recreation Department on Saturday, May 14 from 1:00-4:00pm. Musical performances include HoneySmoke from 1:00-2:30pm and Yeehaw Junction from 2:30-4:00pm.
HoneySmoke is a Delta/Island/Blues band from Charleston, SC. The band mixes the sounds and feeling of blues music with instrumentation of the Islands, while occasionally adding a little bit of Rock n' Roll and Country Western.
The Charleston based band, Yeehaw Junction, has been performing bluegrass music in South Carolina's Lowcountry for the past 15 years. They always showcase a lively and authentic bluegrass performance when they take the stage.
Food trucks Charleston Choo and Miracle's Tasty Express will be on site offering food specials and Holy City Italian Ice will have some cold treats for those in attendance.
In the event of inclement weather, all performances will be moved inside the Recreation Center.
