Kid Tours: Carolina Gold

September would have been harvest time on the plantation where enslaved people began to clear the fields with the product that create the wealth of Charleston. Learn the steps of rice production and the importance of Carolina Gold. Kid Tours is a series designed to highlight artifacts from our collection that have fascinated children for years. Kid Tours meet the first Wednesday of every month at 3:30 p.m. and include a craft project or activity.

FREE for Museum members and FREE with admission ($12/adults, $5/children, under 3 free).
