The Charleston Symphony Youth Orchestra (CSYO), under the direction of Music Director Jack A. Cleghorn, will be performing on Tuesday, April 18th, Charleston Symphony Youth Orchestra will perform its side-by-side performance with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra at Memminger Auditorium. The concert begins at 7 p.m.; tickets are $10 for students and seniors and $20 for adults.
More than 70 middle and high school students representing 19 schools from the tri-county area make up the Charleston Symphony Youth Orchestra. The CSYO has been an affiliate of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra (CSO) since 2014, with the CSO providing significant support to the young players, including sectional rehearsals led by symphony members, along with occasional rehearsal direction by Music Director Ken Lam and Concert Master Yuriy Bekker.
