As part of the 2016 Black History Month, the Town of Mount Pleasant Historical Commission is offering a series of events to include a presentation by Dr. Marlene O’Bryant Seabrook, educator and fiber artist. The presentation's theme will be Gullah Design – Quilts.

The Plantation Singers

As part of the 2016 Black History Month, the Town of Mount Pleasant Historical Commission is offering a series of events to include a performance by the Plantation Singers. The Plantation Singers of Charleston are a professional a cappella singing group renowned locally, nationally and internationally for their singing of the music of the Lowcountry.
