The Atlantic Cup presented by 11th Hour Racing is returning to Charleston! From May 24th- 27th, visit Charleston City Marina where the boats will be docked to prepare for the race. You may even get a chance to talk to some the sailors about the race!
On Saturday May 28th, head over to the Charleston Maritime Center or get out on the water to watch the start of the race as the boats head off to New York City. The gun goes off at 12pm so don’t be late!
The Atlantic Cup presented by 11th Hour Racing is the toughest offshore race spanning the east coast of the United States. Some of the best short-handed sailors around the globe vie for the chance to take hold of The Atlantic Cup!
In addition, the Atlantic Cup provides shore-based activities for fans of all ages plus it is the most environmentally sustainable sailing race in the U.S. This year, the teams of two will race three legs with stopovers in Charleston, New York City and Portland, sailing a total of 1,008 nautical miles.
