Charleston Pirate Tours guide Eric Lavender, dressed in authentic, pirate garb, leads guests through the historic streets of Charleston, regaling them with tales of the pirates, who made Charleston a port-o-call during the Golden Age of Piracy. Lavender’s trusty companion, Captain Bob, the blue & gold macaw, delights guests with his antics as Lavender tells stories of Blackbeard, Stede Bonnet, Anne Bonny, and more. This professional storytelling duo has been invited to appear at museums throughout the south including the South Carolina State Museum and the Schiele Museum in North Carolina to perform their entertaining presentation on the pirates who plagued the Carolinas.
The Buccaneer is a restaurant, bar and museum dedicated to great food, hospitality and the history of low country piracy. The Buccaneer resides in an historic warehouse dating back to the late 1700s and showcases a unique collection of artifacts from the Golden Age of Piracy circa 1690 1730. It's located in what was Charleston's original wharf front district on cobblestoned Faber Street. The Buccaneer has put together special menus for the Tour Meal Deal including their most popular entrees and appetizers from She Crab Soup and Signature Roast Prime Rib to Pecan Crusted Chicken Salad and Lowcountry Shrimp & Grits.
Reservations are required. To book your Tour Meal Deal, call The Buccaneer Restaurant at 843-805-6065 or Charleston Pirate Tours at 843-442-7299.
