Have you met Mariana Hay? Known as Mini, she is the Charleston artist and visionary behind the line of gifts and jewelry in the Gold Bug Collection. She is the 4th generation of jewelry royalty at Charleston’s acclaimed Croghan’s Jewel Box. For over 100 years, the family of jewelers have been serving the Lowcountry and its many visitors. After attending Clemson University as a sculpture major and interning with the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s jewelry manufacturing department, Mini set out to create her own line of jewelry inspired by her Charleston roots and the Gold Bug Collection was launched.
