Join authentically costumed pirates and their real parrots for Charleston’s only children’s tour. The children sign our log to join the crew. Next, we practice sword drills with foam rubber swords so the crew is ready for the adventure. Each child receives a sword to keep as a souvenir. We then set out on our treasure hunt, exploring the pirate history of White Point Gardens and Charleston Harbor. Children also make their own pirate flags. The tour ends when we find the treasure chest and divvy up the plunder. The kids get more souvenirs from the treasure chest and their very own parrot (don't worry, parents... it's a balloon parrot, so you don't have to feed it or worry about parrot poop!) Customers say: "Historical facts with some funny anecdotes added kept the adults thoroughly entertained, while sword-fighting lessons, map reading for clues and racing from one clue site to the next gave the kids a super adventure!" "PERFECT for the kiddos as well as entertaining for adults...Captain Sabrina is awesome, and the kids love her. Must-do for the family." "I took my 4 and 6 year old on the kids’ pirate tour. It was just the right length for their age and kept them running around for the hour. The tour is set within a park so no worries about crossing streets or losing sight of the kids as they run around finding clues from their treasure maps. The information that was provided was perfectly suited to their ages."
