Drawing inspiration from Charleston’s famed courtyard gardens, the AAA Four Diamond Palmetto Cafe is a juxtaposition of outside and in, new and traditional. Live green walls with antique wrought iron planters, 19th century mirrors and refreshing water fountains set in stone tiles frame the space, while Southern Colonial inspired furnishings with dark mahogany and woven cane details add an elegant finish. The Lowcountry inspired garden setting includes a central garden and fountain, open seasonally for al fresco dining. Serving breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch, the menu features dishes inspired by the bounty of the area’s oceans, fields and ranges with an international twist. In addition to Cafe classics like the Seafood Club and Palmetto Sampler, diners can enjoy elevated fare such as Salmon Carpaccio, Crab Brioche and Ribeye Steak. The Palmetto Cafe also features a delectable Saturday and Sunday Brunch with Eggs Benedict, Housemade Caramel Brioche, made-to-order Gourmet Omelets and much more. Experience this hidden gem located in the heart of Charleston’s grand dame, The Charleston Place, daily. The Palmetto Cafe is open for breakfast from 7am to 11am and lunch from 12pm to 3:00pm. Brunch is served Saturday 9:00am to 12:00pm and Sunday from 9:00am to 1:30pm.
