Tickets are now on sale for the Southern Living Live: Charleston Event Weekend June 10-12, 2016 hosted by Explore Charleston in partnership with Time Inc.s Southern Living. This special event weekend will feature a variety of one-of-a-kind experiences hosted by editors and local personalities, and provide an inside look into the citys culinary tastes, grand homes & gardens, eclectic shopping and music scene.

The Southern Living Live: Charleston Event Weekend includes everything from exclusive culinary experiences and demonstrations to guided tours with notable experts; here is a sampling of featured events:
On Friday, June 10, Executive Chef Marc Collins and Southern Living Editor-in-Chief Sid Evans will be hosting a private dinner event beginning with a cocktail reception on the lawn at the Wentworth Mansion, followed by a five-course meal that pays tribute to some of the most iconic Southern Living recipes.
That same evening, Executive Chef and James Beard Award Winner Jason Stanhope will host a private dinner event alongside Southern Living Test Kitchen Director Robby Melvin. FIG will serve as the venue for a private event showcasing a custom menu of signature cocktails and delectable Southern fare.
In partnership with the Charleston Parks Conservancy, Gardening Editor Steve Bender and the Charleston "Window Box Ladies" will host a Gardening Seminar on Saturday, June 11 to share the history of the iconic Charleston window box.
The Southern Living Biscuits & Jam Outdoor Concert will be hosted on Saturday, June 11 at Mt. Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park showcasing the sounds of Parker Millsap and The Secret Sisters. This laid-back event will feature barbecue by some of Charlestons most iconic names including Swig & Swine, Home Team BBQ and Food for the Southern Soul, plus a wide selection of local craft beers including Coast Brewing, Cooper River Brewing, Holy City Brewing, Palmetto Brewing and Tradesman Brewing.
The weekend will wrap up with a Bloody Marys and Biscuits Brunch Event featuring Charleston Bloody Mary Mix, High Wire Distilling and Striped Pig Distillery, plus homemade biscuits prepared by Southern Living Test Kitchen Director Robby Melvin. Additional menu items include a variety of brunch specialties prepared by Holy City Hospitality.
