JetBlue Flights to Charleston, S.C., Now On Sale

JETBLUE FLIGHTS TO CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA, NOW ON SALE
Daily, Nonstop Service Begins February 28, 2013


CHARLESTON, S.C. (September 20, 2012) — JetBlue announced today that tickets to Charleston—the airline’s first destination in South Carolina—are now available for purchase at www.jetblue.com/new. JetBlue will serve Charleston International Airport (CHS) with twice daily nonstop service from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and a daily flight from Boston’s Logan (BOS) starting on Thursday, February 28, 2013.

Charleston is the airline’s 76th destination served, and special $76 one-way fares are on sale today through September 25, 2012. The $76 fares apply to flights from CHS to JFK and BOS and are good for travel between February 28 and April 30, 2013.

CHS to JFK
Departs 10:40 a.m., Arrives 12:23 p.m.
Departs 6:12 p.m., Arrives 8:00 p.m.

CHS to BOS
Departs 12:45 p.m., Arrives 2:52 p.m.

JFK to CHS
Departs 8:00 a.m., Arrives 10:04 a.m.
Departs 2:59 p.m., Arrives 5:11 p.m.

BOS to CHS
Departs 9:35 a.m., Arrives 12:03 p.m.

JetBlue's flights from Charleston will be serviced by 100-seat Embraer E190 jets, which have all leather seating and no middle seat configuration. With JetBlue, the first-checked bag is free and passengers are welcome to enjoy an unlimited assortment of name brand snacks and drinks as well as more than 140 channels of complimentary live television and radio on personal seatback screens. JetBlue offers more legroom than any other carrier in coach.

Speaker of the House Bobby Harrell, who credits the cooperative efforts of the Charleston International Airport, Charleston Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, Charleston Regional Development Alliance and Charleston Metro Chamber with landing the new air service.
