Vivian Howard’s Lenoir Book Club: Natalie Chanin of Alabama Chanin
Event Details
PBS star and chef Vivian Howard is hosting regular salon-style conversations with authors at Lenoir, her downtown Charleston restaurant. From 2-4 p.m. Feb. 12, 2023, Natalie Chanin, founder of Alabama Chanin, will discuss her sixth book: "Embroidery: Threads and Stories from Alabama Chanin and The School of Making.” Each event begins with a cocktail and conversation between Vivian and the author, followed by a book signing and meet-and-greet with food and beverage inspired by the book. Chanin, a slow design pioneer, started the company in early 2000 with the creation of hand-sewn garments made from cotton jersey t-shirts. Now the lifestyle company is known for producing well-designed and thoughtfully made goods for the person and the home. Tickets cost $75. Buy tickets at https://bit.ly/lenoirchanin.
