Marcus Amaker, Charleston’s first Poet Laureate, is celebrating the release of his tenth book, Hold What Makes You Whole, at the Music Hall. The “Visual Poetry” show will feature spoken word, experimental music, and film. Audiences will also experience a ton of local talent: poet Jammie Huynh, musician CONCEPT RXCH, and Goose Creek High School poets Emerson Finch Muck, Alyssa Ruth-Cole, and I.R. Kingsley.
