Total Solar Eclipse Party at Holy City Brewing Taproom

Event Details

We are throwing a big party for the solar eclipse on August 21st, 2017.

We will be releasing two beers, a stout on nitro called “Emperor” and an American blonde ale called “Waltz.” We will also be doing black-and-tan style pours of the beers blended together, which we have named “The Emperor’s Waltz,” appropriately.

Our kitchen will also be running some specials that are eclipse-themed, to keep everyone fed and in the spirit of the galactic event we will all witness together!
We will also be hosting Jennifer Baer, a graphic designer for the NASA Solar System Exploration Research Virtual Institute at NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California will be on hand to share eclipse graphics and learning materials as well as interactive hands-on art demonstrations. She will also have copies of her children’s book, entitled, “Yes, I work at NASA. No, I’m not an Astronaut,” available for the youngsters that come out to watch the event!
