The Sound of Music

Step into Austria in the late 30’s to follow the von Trapps, seven motherless children and their stoic father Georg as they welcome former nun and free-spirit Maria Rainer into their home as a governess. Most famously adapted by Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer on the silver screen, audiences have been captivated by The Sound of Music for decades, not only securing “Best Musical” at the Tony Awards but also locking down “Best Picture” at the Academy Awards. This Rodgers and Hammerstein classic reverberates throughout the musical theatre canon. Featuring quintessential masterpieces such as “My Favorite Things”, “Do-Re-Mi”, “Sixteen Going on Seventeen”, and “Climb Ev’ry Mountain”, this production is sure to leave the hills and hearts alive with the sound of music.
