Event Details

Hot cocoa, happy carolers, and holiday cheer await the public at the historic Charleston City Market's annual Christmas Tree lighting event held in Anson Square located at the corner of North Market and Anson Streets in downtown Charleston. This event is free and open to everyone. Festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. and the tree lighting will occur at 7 p.m. After the tree is lit, attendees may wander through the four-block long historic market where 100 local vendors and artisans will showcase their goods until 10:30 p.m.
