The Fall of Charleston Pirates

The fall of 1718 saw the demise of many of the pirates who frequented the South Carolina Coast. To mark their passing, Charleston Pirate Tours tickets fall to half price through December 10, 2016.

The pirates who fell during the fall of 1718:
-Gentleman Pirate Stede Bonnet and his crew (executed in Charleston)
-Richard Worley and his crew (Worley was killed during battle off of Sullivan's Island, and surviving crew members were executed in Charleston)
-Blackbeard and his crew (Blackbeard was killed during battle in Ocracoke Inlet, North Carolina. Surviving crew members were executed in Williamsburg.)
