It's time to crown the best southern fried chicken in Charleston. Join us for our inaugural Southern Fried Chicken Challenge! This inaugural event will host 20 local vendors as they compete to make the best, most delicious fried chicken in the area.

Sample tasty dishes from top chefs and restaurants, listen to live music, and help give tribute to our love of this Southern comfort dish. Bring your friends, family, and a chair or blanket, and get ready to spend an afternoon indulging in the best foods Charleston has to offer!

After discovering that one of downtown Charleston's best seafood restaurants served an amazing fried chicken lunch special each week, we were blown away. We wondered how many other restaurants and caterers might serve delicious fried chicken dishes that we didn't know about?

And so the Southern Fried Chicken Challenge was born, and the hunt for Charleston's best fried chicken began. Welcome to the Southern Fried Chicken Challenge.
